We braved fierce winds in our final demo of the semester at Grace Bible Church. Despite the windiest Saturday afternoon in recent memory, God allowed us to reach a fairly large group of young children. Our “wall” (made of PVC pipes and a black curtain) could not stand up to the wind, even with ropes and anchors. Luckily, the church had a shed in the middle of their field that we used as our staging area. Nearly everything in the demo ran extremely smoothly. Andrew Price landed his flying sidekick perfectly and the forms and self-defense sections looked sharp. Sadly, we will not have any more demos until the fall, but we look forward to more opportunities to serve Christ through this ministry when we return to school.
